Another quickie before I bust out the big guns:
Here's what passes for "Cheesecake" in Thailand.
That would be regular white cake, sweetened as usual, with butter icing, sweetened as usual, with parmesan cheese mixed into the batter and prettily arranged on the top.

It was terrible and possible the root cause of Alisa's all-night stomach upset.
Now, every time we pass that stand, we curse it and its useless translation of recipes.
